OCS has continuously sponsored The Junior Dublin Literary Awards in Thailand for 8 years to promote English writing skills among Thai students. The contest was open for all Thai students throughout the country. This year ceremony had taken place The Rembrandt Hotel on February 1, 2013. The topic is “My Biggest Decision”.
The opening remark was made by Mr. Pana Junviroj, President of The Nation, a leading English newspaper in Thailand. Certificate was presented to Bangkok/Central region winner by Mrs. Heather Suksem, Regional Managing Director of OCS Region3.
The national winner of this year is Mr. Zethpong Nimmantherdwong who shared his idea on the stage and expressed his personal thanks to those supported him.
The event was closed by Mr.Paul Scales, the President of the Irish Thai Chamber of Commerce.
The Junior Dublin Awards next year’s theme was launched by the national winner in the topic of “Behind the Mask”.
